Play Formats

Grades 1 - 4 participate in the Little League Division.

Little League Division play consists of (5) 55-minute instructional sessions, plus (3) matches.  These are held on (8) successive weekends at area golf courses (O’Fallon, MO, Eureka, etc.) All events are held on Saturdays or Sundays (times vary).  Instructional sessions begin in late April or early May.  The final match is scheduled in mid-June.  Parents/guardians are asked to walk the course with your golfer.

The goal is to provide instruction in the fundamentals of the game, hopefully instill a long-term interest in the game, and HAVE FUN!

Grades 5 - 8 participate in the Big League Division.

Big League Division play consists of (4) 55-minute instructional sessions beginning in mid-March typically at area golf courses with the rounds beginning in late April or early May.   All sessions are held on Saturday a.m. or p.m., or Sunday p.m.  Teams of 6 - 8 golfers compete with other Parish programs for the Team Championship Tournament.  Additionally, each golfer may compete for the Individual Championship Tournament, for each grade and gender.  The winners of these post-season tournaments advance to the Archdiocesan City/County Championship Tournament, scheduled for late June.

While the season culminates in District and City/County golf tournaments for qualifying golfers/teams, please keep in mind this is a recreational league for golfers of ALL skill levels.  Parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany your golfer through the matches but may not provide instruction or advice.

Big League Division golfers and one parent must attend a one (1) hour Rules of Golf/Golf Etiquette seminar held to review the rules and formats for the season, along with a Q and A.  Dates and locations will be posted on the league website once determined.
